Ingredients

  • 1 cup Idli Batter
  • 1/2 bunch Spinach
  • 1 tbsp Green chilli (optional)
  • 1/2 tbsp Ginger
  • Salt as per taste
  • 1 tbsp Oil

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop spinach finely.
  2. Heat a fry pan, add oil, green chilli, ginger saute for a minute.
  3. Add spinach saute again for 2 minutes.
  4. Cool the spinach and make a smooth paste using mixer.
  5. Pour this spinach paste on to the batter and mix well.
  6. Pour a laddle of this batter in the Idli moulds and steam for 8-10 minutes.
  7. Serve hot spinach idli with Chutney.
