Ingredients
- 5 Bread slices cut into cubes
- 1/2 Cup curd
- 1/4 Tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 Tsp chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 Tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 Tsp asafoetida
- 3 to 4 Curry leaves
- 1/2 Tsp grated ginger
- 1/4 Cup thinly sliced onions
- 2 Tbsp oil
- 2 Tbsp finely chopped coriander
Instructions

Put curd, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt together in a bowl, add 2 tbsp of water and mix well.

Next, add the bread cubes in the batter and toss it well so that the bread gets coated with curd mixture.

Now, heat oil in a broad non-stick pan and add cumin seeds.

Once cumin seeds start crackling, add asafoetida, curry leaves and ginger and sauté on medium flame for a few seconds.

Add onion slices and sauté till they turn light brown.

Add the curd-bread mixture and sauté on low flame till the bread turns light brown in colour. Keep stirring occasionally.

Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
