Ingredients

  • 25 Mini Idlis
  • 4-5 cup Curd
  • 1 cup Milk/ Water
  • Coriander leaves for garnish
  • Carrot for garnish
  • Sugar a pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Cashew
  • 2 tbsp Coconut fresh grated
  • 2 Green chillies

For seasoning

  • 1/4 tbsp Mustard seeds
  • 5-6 Curry leaves
  • 1/2 tbsp Urad dal
  • 3-4 Dry red chillies
  • Asaefoetida a pinch
  • 1 tbsp Oil

Instructions

  1. Beat the curd with water/ milk. Add the required salt and sugar to it.
  2. Heat oil in a small pan, splatter the mustard seeds, urad dal, dry red chillies and curry leaves.
  3. Add this to the beaten curd with a pinch of asaefoetida.
  4. Grind the cashews, green chillies and grated coconut together and add it to the curd as well.
  5. Finally add the idlis half an hour before serving to prevent it from becoming soggy.
  6. Garnish with grated carrot and chopped coriander.

  7. Refrigerate and serve it chillied. It is the most refreshing snack for a summer day.
