Ingredients

  • 8 bread slices
  • 1 ripe banana (cut into small discs)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp nylon sev
  • 1 tsp black salt (sanchal) or chaat masala

For Green Chutney

  • 3/4 cup mint leaves (phudina)
  • 1 1/8 cups coriander (dhania)
  • 1 small sized onion
  • 1 small tomato
  • 2 green chillies
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients for the green chutney and blend it using little water. keep it aside.
  2. Apply butter on 4 bread slices.
  3. Apply green chutney on remaining 4 bread slices.
  4. Arrange banana pieces on the breads with butter.
  5. Sprinkle nylon sev on top of banana.
  6. Sprinkle black salt as per taste.
  7. Cover using the bread with green chutney.
  8. Heat the tava on medium flame.
  9. Heat the sandwich till golden brown.
  10. Serve hot.

  • Other Spreads: You can use Nutella, cream cheese, or Greek yogurt instead of peanut butter for a different flavor profile.
  • Fruits and Nuts: For added texture and nutrition, consider adding chopped nuts, raisins, or even some sliced strawberries or apple slices to the sandwich.
